List of Previous Winners

Women in German invites nominations for our Best Article Prize. The purpose of this award is to recognize excellent research and scholarship in the field of feminist German studies. The prize is conferred annually and was awarded for the first time in 2004. The author of the article selected will receive a $500 cash award and a certificate of recognition.

Please note that we are currently inviting nominations for two prizes, 2016 and 2017 respectively. Therefore, an article must have been published in a journal issue or collection with a publication date in the year 2016 or 2017. The work must present original new research that makes a significant contribution to the field of feminist German studies. The authors must be WiG members at the time of submission. Articles may be written in either German or English.

Please submit an electronic version of the article to Committee Chair (Tessa Wegener): article@womeningerman.org.
